Holden Evening Prayer Services

Midweek Worship
  • Thursdays February 25-March 25, 7 pm on Facebook and our website
  • We will walk with Jesus who turns toward the challenges of loving, leading, and following God's call as he gets closer to Jerusalem. That call comes with the full range of emotions. During worship, we will explore how we might also turn toward the feelings we would rather avoid so that we can learn from them.

Generosity and alms-giving is a spiritual practice during Lent. We invite you to consider a gift above and beyond your regular offering this year.

Lenten Offering

This year's special giving focus during Lent will support the Alana Faith Chen Foundation. Its mission is to support LGBTQ+ youth and young adults to prevent suicide. They partner with queer-informed therapists to identity clients who are at high-risk and unable to afford mental health services. You can learn more at their website.

Make your Lenten gift
  • Through the CTS website by choosing the Lenten Offering button on the homepage.
  • Or by sending a check made out to CTS with "Lent offering" in the memo line.

Who is Christ the Servant?

Christ the Servant Lutheran Church has been proclaiming the Gospel of our Lord, Jesus Christ, since 1985.  We are called to serve others as we minister to all who enter our doors, providing worship, prayer, fellowship and service to others.

Our welcome knows no boundaries of age, race, ethnicity, culture, marital status, gender identity, sexual orientation, economic condition, physical or mental ability.

We rejoice in the amazing diversity of God's creation, which enriches, nurtures, and expands our life and ministry.   We are committed to continuously learning, teaching, and sharing our faith.
