We Believe:

Picture

God is with us.

God made each one of us, God was fully human and fully divine in Jesus Christ, and God’s Spirit continues to guide us.  We connect to God and to one another in our weekly worship services and our life together in Christ’s community.

God speaks to us.

The Bible is God’s inspired word.  Through scripture, we meet Christ, hear of God’s love and mercy, and receive guidance for life and faith.  Studying scripture together is an opportunity to hear God’s voice through the community.

God welcomes us all.

God made a world full of the beautiful range of people, creatures, and all life.  We are a Reconciling in Christ congregation who declares God’s love for people of all races, languages, ages, sexual orientations, gender identities, economic status, and abilities.

God renews our faith, connects us in relationship, and uses our gifts to respond to the world around us.

Who is Christ the Servant?

We embrace God’s boundless welcome and see you in your beloved identities: all races, ethnicities, shapes & sizes, every marital status, political affiliation, documentation status, sexual orientation & gender identity or expression, those of different faith traditions, of different physical, mental & emotional abilities, and those in recovery or struggling with addiction.

We rejoice and find strength in the amazing diversity of God's creation, which enriches, nurtures, and expands our life and ministry.  We commit to the ongoing work of racial equity, environmental and economic justice, and to learning and growing together.
We acknowledge that we gather upon land within the territories of the Ute, Cheyenne and Arapaho Peoples past and present.

Christ the Servant is a Reconciling in Christ Congregation,
part of the Rocky Mountain Synod of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America.
