The Chrysalis Initiative:

The CTS long-term, survivor-centered response to the Marshall Fire

Sharing our Story

As part of the 2022 Synod Assembly, the following videos were commissioned by the Rocky Mountain Synod, ELCA to share the stories of CTS Survivors and our community, and the ministry response that we have created. Created by Mary Stoneback of Stoneback Media.

Volunteer with the Chrysalis Initiative:
  • Responding to direct survivor requests
  • Supporting CTS Chrysalis Initiative programs and events
  • Contact us at ctschrysalisteam@gmail.com.

Ongoing needs in our congregation's faith life:
  • Volunteer in worship: be a greeter, serve communion or read prayers
  • Contact Marissa to be a Caring Adult at youth events

Chrysalis Programs

Chrysalis Companion Program

Survivors most impacted can choose to be paired with a CTS companion to walk alongside you, and facilitate support and access to resources through the CTS Community. If you are a survivor and would like to be matched with a companion, or are willing to be a companion for another community member, please contact Marissa Seuc-Hester.
